Riddim in Motion
Design | Illustration | Editing | Animation
Riddim in Motion is my ongoing series of dance animations that helped define the Motion Mami style. Rooted in music, culture, and joy, what began as creative experiments has evolved into a signature visual language.
Collaborations
What started as a personal exploration of dance and movement soon opened the door to collaborations with brands looking to bring that same energy into their own stories. Each project adapts the Motion Mami style to a new world, blending character, movement, and brand identity.
From music festivals and apparel drops to cultural events and campaigns, these collaborations use motion to create work that feels expressive, joyful, and alive.
Black Market Flea
Black Market Flea is a recurring, curated market and cultural festival based in Los Angeles that celebrates Black entrepreneurship, art, and community expression. We’ve collaborated on a series of animations promoting their events. In each piece, I wanted to make sure I captured the essence of their brand and energy, while also introducing elements of the Motion Mami world.
Governor’s Ball
In partnership with Governor’s Ball, an annual three-day music festival in New York City, I created this animation to the song “Toast” by Koffee who was a featured performer for that year’s line up.
Nina Sky
For the 20th anniversary of Nina Sky’s “Move Your Body”, we collaborated on a piece that tapped into the nostalgic energy of the early 2000s.
